Frequently Asked Questions
Will the PDF look exactly like my Word document?
The content, headings, lists, tables, images and links are kept, but the layout is rebuilt for A4 pages. Exact fonts, columns, headers, footers and page breaks may differ. For pixel-perfect output, export from Word itself.
What's the difference between the two download options?
'Download PDF' renders each page as an image, which looks the same everywhere, but the text can't be selected. 'Print / Save as PDF' uses your browser's PDF printer, so the text stays selectable and searchable.
Can I convert old .doc files?
No, only the modern .docx format is supported. Open the file in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
Is my document uploaded?
No. The document is read and converted entirely in your browser.
