ToolboxKit

How It Works

We say "your files never leave your device" — here's what that means, and how you can verify it yourself.

Your file never travels over the network

When you use a tool, your file is processed only in your browser's memory. If you want, open your browser's Developer Tools → Network tab and upload a file: you'll see for yourself that no request carrying your file's content is ever sent to a server.

Built-in browser technology

Our tools use the Canvas API, the Web Crypto API, and similar browser standards — built-in capabilities that let any web page do things like image processing or cryptographic calculations without needing an extra server.

When you close the page, the data goes too

Nothing is saved to persistent storage. If you reload or close the page, whatever you processed is cleared from memory. The only thing we keep is a small setting like your theme preference, and that stays only in your own browser.

Why we built it this way

Converting a PDF to JPG or compressing an image doesn't require uploading your file to a server at all — your browser can already do it. Since we never see your file, we don't even need to make privacy promises: it's technically not possible for us to see it.

Test it yourself

  1. Open Developer Tools in your browser (F12, or right-click → Inspect).
  2. Switch to the "Network" tab.
  3. Open any of our tools and upload a file or run an action.
  4. You'll see in the Network tab that no request the size of your file goes out — only the page's own code loads.
