How to Use
- 1Choose Timer or Stopwatch.
- 2For a timer, pick a preset or type hours, minutes and seconds, then press Start.
- 3When time is up, an alarm sounds and the countdown flashes. The tab title also shows the remaining time.
- 4Use the full-screen button for a large display, or Lap to record split times with the stopwatch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the timer keep running in another tab?
Yes. The timer works from the actual end time rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate even if the browser slows down background tabs. The remaining time also shows in the tab title.
Why didn't I hear the alarm?
Check that your device isn't muted and that the speaker icon is on. Some browsers only allow sound after you've clicked on the page, which you do anyway when you press Start.
Can I use it for the Pomodoro technique?
Yes. Use the 25-minute preset for focus sessions and the 5-minute preset for breaks.
