Frequently Asked Questions
How long should the title and description be?
Aim for about 50–60 characters for the title and 120–160 for the description. Google truncates longer text based on pixel width, so the counters are a guide, not a hard limit.
What are Open Graph tags?
Open Graph (og:) tags control the title, description, and image shown when your page is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Slack, and many other apps. Twitter/X reads its own twitter: tags, and falls back to Open Graph.
Does Google use the meta keywords tag?
No. Google has ignored meta keywords for years, so this generator leaves them out. The title and description matter much more, because they shape how your result looks and whether people click.
Is anything I type saved?
No. The tags are generated in your browser, and nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
