Frequently Asked Questions
Does formatting change how my page looks?
Beautifying only changes whitespace between tags, which browsers mostly ignore. Content inside <pre> and <textarea> is left untouched.
Does it format inline CSS and JavaScript too?
Yes. Code inside <style> and <script> tags is indented along with the surrounding HTML.
How safe is the minifier?
It removes comments and whitespace between tags. That's safe for most pages, but if your layout depends on spaces between inline elements, check the result before using it in production.
