Upload a logo, or create an icon from a letter or emoji, and download every favicon size modern browsers and phones need, plus the HTML to add them to your site.

Your files never leave your device — everything runs in your browser.

How to Use

  1. 1Choose 'From image' and upload a square logo, or choose 'From text' and type a letter or emoji.
  2. 2For text icons, pick the colors and a square, rounded, or circle shape.
  3. 3Check the previews, including how the icon looks in a browser tab at 16 px.
  4. 4Download the ZIP, upload the files to your site's root folder, and paste the HTML snippet into your <head>.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which favicon files do I actually need?

favicon.ico covers every browser, including old ones. The 32×32 PNG is used by modern browsers, apple-touch-icon.png by iPhones and iPads when a site is added to the home screen, and the 192/512 icons with site.webmanifest by Android and installable web apps.

My logo isn't square. What happens?

The generator crops the center square of your image. For the best result, start from a square logo with some padding around it. Details also disappear at 16 px, so simple shapes work best.

Why doesn't my new favicon show up?

Browsers cache favicons aggressively. After uploading, hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R) or open it in a private window. Also check that the files are in your site's root folder.

Is my logo uploaded?

No. All icons are drawn and packaged in your browser.
